Finding Goals that are right for YOU


It was October 2022 - just me and a couple of geckos for company in a beautiful treehouse in Pahoa, Hawaii - a trip I'd taken to clear my head after a hectic year. I don't know if it was the serenity of the jungle, or the lack of internet, but it seemed like the perfect time to take stock of my life and plan my new year.


I hadn't been very successful with goalsetting over the years. Vision boards and manifestation felt too overwhelming (what do you mean I should visualize what I want - I don't know what I want!); SMART and other result-oriented frameworks didn't work because I found it hard to pick a number - was I limiting myself, or overshooting? ; And Daily tracking and excessive journaling didn't work for me because 1. who has the time and 2. Consistency is NOT my middle name - like, at all! Most of all, I was left with shame and guilt over my failed goals.


But the problem wasn't me - it was that general goalsetting advice didn't work for me. I knew WHAT I was supposed to achieve, but no amount of detailed to-do lists were helping. So I decided to change my approach and came up with a theory.


If you understand your why, the what gets easy. And if you understand yourself, the how gets even easier.


I put this theory to test over the next 2 years - I defined how I wanted to feel in the next year (my WHY), and what kind of person I was, so I could design systems that helped me make progress (my HOW). In 2023, I crushed all the goals I'd set for myself by October, and had time to pick up a few more things that aligned with how I wanted to feel. In 2024, life happened (and I mean rock-bottom, out-of-control, REALLY happened), and the feelings-based goalsetting helped me get back to myself.


In 2025, I want to share this with you - in the form of GOALdilocks - a feelings-based goals guide to help you find the right goals for you.

What is different about the GOALdilocks goalsetting system?

GOALdilocks is a Feeling-based goalsetting system. This means we focus more on how we want to FEEL in the new year, and design our goals based on that. Knowing your 'why' helps ground you to your goals, knowing yourself helps you stay consistent, and setting action-based goals helps you progress in the right direction regardless of life changes.


Is this right for me?

GOALdilocks is right for you if generic goal-setting hasn't worked for you, and you're looking for something that understands life happens and helps you design goals that work WITH you on where you want to go in life. If you're busy, crave flexibility, and can't be bothered to track and report on every little thing you do, but still have ambitions and want to make changes to your life, I'd say you've come to the right place.


This system isn't right for you if you're unwilling to look at your life or don't want to make changes (or if a current system is already working for you!).


How long will this take?

An afternoon, if I'm being honest. The steps are broken down into easy-to-follow instructions with ample examples - and as long as you're able to reflect and come up with answers, it really shouldn't take more than 2-3 hours. Some of you might need to take longer, or break it down and do this over the course of a few days, and that's okay too - whatever works for you!


Am I just doing this by myself?

GOALdilocks is self-paced - the focus is on reflection and deep personalization, so it makes sense to let you do this on your own terms. There is a community/forum to ask questions and share progress, and I'll pop in from time-to-time to share my own progress, reminders, and motivation.


What if I want to skip some steps?

The 5 steps are designed to get you from point A to point B, but in the general spirit of GOALdilocks and doing what's right for you - take what you need and leave the rest! You can always come back and pivot/restart with more steps if needed.

No. I truly believe this system benefits you if you are willing to do your part to reflect and do the work. The low pricing is intentional, and the worksheets and content are available immediately upon enrolment so you can get started on your goals right away.
